ComfortSG Limited: Merger with CitibuzzSG

VIsionSG announces that it has acquired CitiBuzzSG, an independent Singapore bus operator, for an undisclosed sum.

Based from two bus depots in Ang Mo Kio and Sembawang, CitiBuzzSG operates a fleet of approximately 250 vehicles on about 40 bus service. The acquisition will help expand VisionSG's footprint in the central and eastern region bus markets in which it is still expanding now.

The acquisition follows that of Harmoniac Bus Services in 2010.

Commenting on the acquisition, Lim Jia Xuan, Chief Executive of the Group, said:

"The acquisition of CitiBuzzSG represents an important step for us in the eastern region and complements the continuing strong organic growth of our bus business which remains the strongest profit contributor for the Group."

This service is a little different
from FFw Services, where this
kind of bus services ply on it's own
route, not an alternative from the
parent service.

A Modified Service is mostly the
same to a normal trunk service.
The only and the only difference
is the different destinations for
the bus service.

_ _ _R/RWS _ _ : Resort World Sentosa™ Service
This service will serve Resort World Sentosa, and will charge express fares/flat fare accordingly. A _ _ _R bus will only come after two buses serving its parent service will come. RWS _ _ services is a service on its own, so it will have its own frequency.
